Professionals Series features a conversation with Eli Neiburger, Associate
Director for IT & Production at the Ann Arbor District Library and member
of the 2011 Class of Library Journal Movers & Shakers.
Eli's presentation for Library Journal's ebooks: Libraries at the Tipping Point summit in 2010, which became widely know as the "libraries are screwed" talk, imagines a future in which libraries are more than just another access point for reading material. Join us to hear from one of the field's most respected futurists on how libraries can and must adapt to an increasingly digital future. This session promises lots of good advice for professionals who are new to the field on what they can do to ensure that libraries thrive in the coming decades.
