In
this one hour webinar, we are going to focus on managing the cataloging
activities for all types of e-resources a typical academic or research
library will acquire, which will be divided into two different workflow
namely cataloging and loading. We will cover aspects including the
collaboration with other units in the library especially the
Acquisition's E-resources group and collection managers, how to motivate
staff, what tools can help, and most important, how to prepare oneself
to be a good manager for e-resources cataloging.
Learning Outcomes
After the webinar, attendees will have a bigger picture about the
variety of e-resources cataloging activities, and have a better
understanding on how to manage the cataloging of e-resources with a
limited and divers staffing.
Who Should Attend?
Cataloging managers or supervisors, catalogers at an academic
library setting and other library tech services librarians and staff who
deal with e-resources.
