Collection Manager is a free Excel spreadsheet that analyzes
three reports from your automation system, i.e., number of items in each
library collection, last year's circulation for each collection, number of
titles added to each collection during the past year, to recommend which
collections to weed, which collections to expand by buying more titles this
year than last year, which collections to buy fewer titles, and even how many
titles to purchase in each collection. Chris Rippel will demonstrate how to use
Collection Manager and how to interpret the results.
