This session will demonstrate how even a small institution with limited staffing and resources can achieve more than 30 percent buy-in of their faculty to the institutional repository (IR) and increase awareness of and support for open access publishing on their campus.
Attendees will receive:
steps for marketing open access and IRs to faculty,
examples of marketing materials,
suggested workflows and business plans to support high adoption of faculty, and
strategies for faculty to employ when looking for a publisher and negotiating contracts to retain greater control over their intellectual property.
