Are you considering purchasing iPads, iPod touches, and/or tablets for your library? If you are, this is the course for you! Course participants will leave this course with a wealth of practical knowledge and will be able to confidently, easily, and successfully integrate these devices into their workplace.
We will cover:
  • Device selection, set-up, and management
  • How to manage, build, and market mobile collections effectively
  • Staff training & workplace productivity
  • Mobile programming
Bonnie Roalsen: Bonnie Roalsen is Head of Children's Services at the Dover Town Library, and an Independent Consultant specializing in mobile technology, digital literacy, creative programming, and youth services. Bonnie was named a Library Journal Mover & Shaker in 2007 for her work incorporating digital media and tools into public library service.
