Do you need to update your library's marketing and publicity to take better advantage of new and emerging media and networks?
This course will examine new media and platforms, ranging from simple
tools like blogs, video, and qr codes to more complex platforms like
Google services, mobile communities, and social networking sites. It
will help you sort through the options, identify which ones will help
you meet your strategic and community goals, and help you design a plan
to integrate your efforts effectively.
All course participants will leave with practical experience with the
tools and platforms examined, and will craft an integrated social media
strategy for their library as a course project.
