Learn about AASL’s Best Websites for Teaching & Learning and how to put them to work with an inquiry unit and submit it to AASL’s Standards for the 21st-Century Learner Lesson Plan Database.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will gain a greater understanding of two AASL initiatives (AASL’s Standards for the 21st-Century Learner Lesson Plan Database and AASL’s Best Websites for Teaching & Learning tools).
Participants will learn to design an inquiry lesson plan based on the criteria in the database; gain experience integrating web 2.0 tools into lesson design as a productive tool for learning or demonstrating understanding.
Participants will have the option to submit lesson for publication on database. Participants taking the course for college credit will be required to follow the submission process to publication on the database.
