This course is an introduction to the planning and management of digitization projects for libraries and archives. If you work in a library or archives (academic, government, public, or private) and want to begin digitizing your unique material, or enhance your already existing digitization efforts through collaborative partnerships or grant-funded work, this course is designed to confront the realities of such digital initiatives. Students will apply readings and online discussions to the realities of their own institution, and at the end of the course each student will have completed a digitization project plan to implement their own digital project.
