Are you in the process of modernizing your library and its services to provide better value and offerings to the communities you serve? Are you looking for new ways to support your community needs? Do you need practical ideas and inspiration?
We will explore how libraries can adapt their services and space to better serve people in a knowledge networked society. This course will examine services and spaces in all types of libraries, as well as serving users of all different ages. Course participants will complete a course project focusing on designing and adapting services and spaces of their choice in their library setting with regard to one of four service areas. Course participants will leave with a wealth of practical ideas and inspiration for moving their libraries forward and strategies for changing to better serve their communities.
